Federalism Committees by State

Just over half of all States in the U.S. have an active Federalism Committee in their state legislature.  Out of these, 18 of them have a committee in both the House and the Senate.  The number of Federalism Committees increases when examining temporary and decommissioned committees.

These committees provide an opportunity to enhance dialogue and examine boundaries and roles regarding federal-state relations, as well as strive for a proper balance in our federal system.
