Current Team

Andrew Bibby

Director

Andrew Bibby teaches classes in Political Science, Political Theory, and American Heritage. He is the recipient of major research awards, including a SSHRC Masters scholarship and the Postdoctoral Fellowship in the James Madison Program for American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton. He is the author of Montesquieu's Political Economy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016). His writing on American Political Thought has appeared in various news and media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal. His current research focuses on the relationship between political depolarization and decentralization in the American federal system. 

Samuel Hill

CCS Ambassador

Samuel Hill graduated from UVU in 2017 with his BA in History and Political Science, with a minor in Constitutional Studies and an emphasis on American Government. He has served as a teaching assistant, research assistant, and was privileged to be one of the first class of Wood Assistants. While he parents his seven children he is preparing to attend graduate school for political theory and American government. He currently works as Ambassador in the Federalism Index Project, and as one who has seen all that the Center and the Constitutional Studies program has to offer, he is well suited to spreading the news.

Emily Linford

Emily Linford is a sophomore at Utah Valley University studying English with a concentration on Creative Writing. She is the copy editor on the Federalism Team. She served a Latter-day Saint mission in Lubbock, Texas from 2016-2018. She loves writing stories and hopes to publish a novel in the future. In addition, she loves playing the piano, singing and listening to music, especially songs by David Bowie.

Johana Linford

Senior Research Fellow

Johana Linford graduated from Utah Valley University in the spring of 2019 in Political Science with an emphasis in American Government, and a minor in Constitutional Studies.  She currently works as a Senior Research Fellow on the Federalism Index Project.  Johana loves learning languages and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.  In 2013, she served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilbert, Arizona.  She loves learning about religion, philosophy, different cultures, and is an avid reader.  Johana is currently working on a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies and has plans to receive further graduate degrees in religious and constitutional studies.
